SEIZING NEW OPPORTUNITIES IN GRADUATE STUDIES: (left to right) In Fall 2006, Peter Bryce (BA 2005) will be returning for a second year of UNB's Bachelor of Education Program and new graduate Kendall Kadatz will be attending his first year along with alumnus Kristen Ross (BA 2005),

The New Brunswick Department of Education has deemed SSU's BA as "Acceptable" for teacher certification purposes. After a detailed review of the Arts curriculum including courses, majors and minors offered, the provincial Teacher Certification Registrar set his stamp of approval. This fall three SSU graduates will be enrolled in the Bachelor of Education program at University Of New Brunswick. Students interested in pursuing teaching careers should identify this to the SSU Registrar so that the required number of teachable courses can be taken within the approved majors and minors.
