As the last leaves of autumn fall in St. Stephen, the students of St. Stephen’s University are harvesting a new abundance of imagination and creativity.  From new musical works being written to creations in painting, photography, jewelry, textiles, and glass,  SSU is enjoying another semester rich not only in the Liberal Arts studied at the university, but in the Fine and Performing Arts as well.  Last year, St. Stephen’s University hosted a very successful Celebration of the Arts to showcase student talent, and once again they are inviting the community to come and see.   

St. Stephen’s University is inviting the public to an Open House at Park Hall (8 Main Street) celebrating the Arts on Saturday, November 26 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.  The Open House will provide an opportunity for members of the community to wander through displays of student works in the visual arts (many of which will be available for purchase) or sit and enjoy a coffee or tea while listening to a showcase of student songwriters.

Admission is free to SSU’s Celebration of the Arts, and the atmosphere will be kept very casual so that the public can feel free to come and leave throughout the evening at their convenience.  Many of the Student art pieces will be available for purchase, and could also make excellent unique gift ideas for the approaching holidays.
