MASTER OF MINISTRY BY MODULE

The Master of Ministry is a part-time degree program normally completed over three years and delivered through modules by our faculty and adjunct faculty as scheduled at St. Stephen's University. This program may also be offered in other locations in Canada, the United States and internationally. The Master of Ministry is designed for those who have an undergraduate degree, or its equivalent, and who have worked in professional ministry for at least five years. Those without this level of experience will be required to complete an internship (these vary in length according to the amount of prior experience). >>>

OTHER PROGRAM OPTIONS

Diploma in Ministry | Module
Mature students (older than 23) who have not completed an undergraduate degree (or established equivalency) but who have worked in professional ministry for three years may apply for a Diploma in Ministry by Module. >>>

Diploma in Ministry | Residential
Mature students (older than 23) who have not completed an undergraduate degree (or established equivalency) and who have not worked in professional ministry may apply for a Diploma in Ministry, Residential Option. >>>

Upgrading a Diploma to a Degree
Students without a prior degree who successfully complete the four modules required for a diploma may do additional course work in the Liberal Arts (number of courses to be determined by faculty) in order to upgrade a Diploma in Ministry to a Master of Ministry degree. This would require the completion of a Ministry Thesis or Ministry Project as well as the additional courses.

Extended Study In Community
Individuals participating in the module program who wish to live and study in the SSU community, incorporate additional classes into their program, or participate in an internship should contact the Dean of Ministry for further details.
