Aside from internet courses that may be integrated into the Bachelor of Christian studies degree (our undergraduate ministry degree), SSU faculty offer very few courses by distance. The reason for this is that spiritual formation, mentoring, and community life are essential and distinctive characteristics of our degrees. Spiritual formation and mentoring are nurtured while part of Christian community. Therefore, the opportunity to take distance courses is reserved for module students and those who are active in a degree program at SSU and normally have already successfully completed one year of studies on-site.
