Life at SSU is hard to capture with words. It is a unique experience of studying, traveling and hanging out with other students, staff & faculty. And, due to the small size of the town of St. Stephen, SSU students are very creative in their pursuit of fun! From the roaring excitement of the annual Red Room Rumble or a spontaneous dance in the girls' hallway, to quietly studying with other students on the front lawn during a warm spring day or eating supper at a professor's home, unique memories and moments are always being created.

The student life team consists of the Student Life Coordinator, Community Advisor, the Residence Assistants, as well as some other students who assist with planning and organizing activities. All of these people are here to help students should they have any relational, spiritual and emotional concerns, and also to help make your time at SSU enjoyable. It has often been said at SSU that each staff and faculty member play a role in student life. Most of the faculty and staff are willing to serve as occasional or possibly year-long mentors for students.
