In the meantime, we recommend that you contact your most recent institution of higher learning and request that they email your transcripts to admissions@ssu.ca or mail them to our address below.

SSU aims to be a graduate school that is hospitable and generous. We encourage students to apply for entrance into our programs regardless of lack of previous post-secondary experience or credentials. We've devised a path of entry into our graduate programs for the hesitant through individual courses or eight-month certificates.

TYPICAL ENTRANCE CRITERIA:
SSU normally requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited university in a related discipline (broadly defined) that gives the prospective student the tools to complete our coursework and flourish in our vibrant and growing learning community.
Prospective students therefore have a better chance of getting accepted into our program if they meet the following standards:

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED UNIVERSITY

TRANSCRIPTS THAT SHOW A MINIMUM 3.0 GPA (B), WITH A 3.3 GPA (B+) IN THE LAST TWO YEARS OF THE MAJOR

WHERE ENGLISH IS NOT THE STUDENT'S FIRST LANGUAGE, DEMONSTRATED PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH BY SCORING 550 ON A PAPER-BASED TOEFL, 86 ON AN INTERNET-BASED TOEFL, OR 6.5 ON AN IELTS EXAM. ALTERNATE LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TESTING MAY BE ACCEPTED BASED ON DEMONSTRATED EQUIVALENCY.
MATURE STUDENT ENTRANCE CRITERIA:
SSU welcomes all inquiries and applicants from anyone interested in our programs, including mature students who perhaps don't have the regular requisite undergraduate credentials like a bachelor's degree. SSU defines a mature student as follows:
